GOD IS MY PILOT

Have you been lost in the highway of life. Lonely in the crowd, you don't know where to go. Thinking so much and afraid of what life would be, you seem to be helpless. but my friend, stop and ponder for a moment about God's word when he said, " I am the way". Certainly, if you will follow him, you will not be lost.

I am sharing to you a story that I heard from a good friend who experienced life that seems there is no end to his tunnel of sufferings. Here is the story.

The plane had left the airport and just 15 minutes airborne, it was caught in the eye of the storm. All of the sudden, an advice came from the public address system which said.

" Your attention please, this is your Captain Roger of Flight 113. We will be descending to a lower altitude to get rid of this strong winds, please fasten your seat belt and be calm, as we will be alright."

When everybody had fastened their seat belt, an elderly woman who was seated along the aisle was alarmed by what she saw...... A little boy, who was just playing with his toy plane, brandishing it over his head, yelling and jumping unmindful of the danger everyone was fearing. The old woman cautioned the boy. " HEY MY DEAR LITTLE BOY ARE YOU NOT aware that there is a strong wind blowing outside. Stop,playing, go to your seat and fasten your seat belt. You might stumble down and hurt in the process. Are you not afraid." The boy smiled and confidently said, "Grandma, why should I, do you not know that the pilot is my Dad."


This childlike confidence one must have, relying unto the providence of the all knowing LORD WILL HELP US OVERCOME OUR OWN FEAR, You should cultivate that belief that there is nothing to fear but fear itself. Do the best and God will do the rest. Good day, my friend.

THE LORD ALWAYS PROVIDES

Do you feel afraid, left alone, neglected, uncertain and feel no one cares for you. Have Faith in the Divine Providence that guides the destinies of men and nation, as our President Manuel L. Quezon said to the Filipinos. For this reason, I am quoting hereunder PSALM 23 of the Old Testaments:

PSALM 23

The LORD is my shepherd
I have everything I need
He lets me rest in the field of green grass
And leads me to quiet pool of fresh water
He gives me new strength
He guides me to the right path as he has promised
Even if I go through the deepest darkness
I will not be afraid Lord,because you are with me
Your shepherd's rod and staff protect me
You prepare a banquet for me where all my enemies can see me
You welcome me as an honored guest
And fill my cup to the brim
I know your goodness and love Lord
Will be with me all of my life
And your house will be my home
As long as I live.
